The Director of Development is a member of the Senior Management team at Positive Living BC, a consumer-led, member driven, registered charitable non-profit society run by and for persons living with HIV. Positive Living BC is Western Canada’s largest HIV/AIDS organization with a membership of more than 5,800 HIV-positive members. Positive Living BC is excited to announce that we have now moved to 1101 Seymour Street (south-west corner of Seymour and Helmcken). We will RE-OPEN for services on Monday, September 11, 2017. AIDS Vancouver will be moving to the same location and opening on the same day as us. Please also remember that the AGM is on September 28.

Moving from 803 East Hastings

Positive Living BC is excited to announce that we will be moving back to our new premises at 1101 Seymour Street (south-west corner of Seymour and Helmcken) at the end of the month and we will RE-OPEN for services on Monday, September 11, 2017.

Our offices at 803 East Hastings Street will be CLOSED at 4:00 pm on Friday, August 25th permanently. AIDS Vancouver will be moving to the same location and opening on the same day as us.

Canadian Positive People Network (CPPN)

The Canadian Positive People Network (CPPN) has
been working collaboratively with the Public Health
Agency of Canada to establish a Contribution Agreement
for project funding under the HIV and Hepatitis C
Community Action Fund. It is anticipated that an
Agreement will be in place in the coming weeks.
Work is underway to establish the CPPN’s priorities
to March 31, 2022.

The “Unofficial Studio 54 of the West Coast” and the oldest Black lesbian-owned disco in the United States was Jewel’s Catch One, or “The Catch” to regulars.
