Canadian Positive People Network (CPPN)

The Canadian Positive People Network (CPPN) has
been working collaboratively with the Public Health
Agency of Canada to establish a Contribution Agreement
for project funding under the HIV and Hepatitis C
Community Action Fund. It is anticipated that an
Agreement will be in place in the coming weeks.
Work is underway to establish the CPPN’s priorities
to March 31, 2022.

Yoga Therapy at Positive Living BC will begin in September 2017. Practitioners will offer traditional Hatha style Yoga, as well as Trauma-sensitive Yoga which is a low barrier style allowing participants to incorporate movements at their own pace and ability.

Positive Talk, a facilitated discussion group for all HIV+ individuals from those newly diagnosed to those aging with HIV, make new social connections, and meet others for support. This group is inclusive, men women and people of all gender identities are welcome. 1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month 6:30-8pm. South Asian Peer Support
Peer support group for South Asian people living with HIV, offered in partnership with UBC’s Dr. Farah Shroff. Discussion will focus on topics important to participants, as well as on subjects like isolation, support, stigma, shame, and belonging.
